​Happy Holy Days of Spring!

The joy of new life in the form of birds, squirrels, plants, trees, and baby kitties are infusing our days. We love watching the birds out our window, the squirrel who pops up on the window sill, the pears on our baby trees, and the mama cat and her four newborn kittens we are fostering. In these moments we hope you are finding joy in the little things and simple life which so many do not have access to.

We are also enjoying the blossoming of our work here locally, as we get to know the city and schools. More like-minded friends reveal themselves to us weekly! We are bursting with gratitude and loving joy.

This is a perfect time to consider only allowing care and compassion to arise in our hearts and minds as we hold those suffering - tenderly. Leave behind the body of death and rise with the Inner Light we are made of. "This little light of mine... I'm gonna let it shine!"

Our Kittie fostering experience these past 2 days has been exciting and so fun. Mama (we're calling her Misti) is gentle and sweet but very scared. We continually reassure her she is safe. This morning her protective skills kicked in and she moved two of the kittens to the top of a couple of boxes on a shelf. 

We realized the top of her big tub kitty bed needed cover for her to feel safe, so we made it darker and moved her back with the other two babies. It's so joyful to just pet and watch them. She's eating well and feeding the babies well.
